Why Netflix Gets us

This clip is part of a short animation film which shows aspects of a Research & Knowledge Project at FH JOANNEUM. It is about how Netflix changes the global entertainment industry. Therefore, 183 million subscribers dive into another world of stories without sometimes even knowing that they are highly customized.

The platform also seems to change the way we perceive the idea of romantic relationships and dating in general. But why does Netflix seem to empathize so much with everyone out there? 

This work analyses which content and design thinking strategies led to the major success of Netflix.
